|Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)|
Hopefully these are the answers to some of the more common questions we are often asked. If you have any which you can't find below, please get in touch. More FAQs still to come.
First of all, make the most of your profile page. Fill in as much info as you can and add a few photos to your gallery. Photographers, this is to give models an idea of your ability so should be relevant topics (so no shots of cute kittens please). Models, even if you have no "professional" photos yet, a decent shot of your face and perhaps one showing your whole body (clothed is fine) is a good start and shows photographers what you look like.
After that, announce yourself in the forum! Say hi to everyone in the Welcome and Chat or go to the Looking for Work section and add details of your shoot ideas in the Models looking for TFP, MUAs looking for TFP or Photographers looking for TFP sections. Remember to put your location in the subject title to make it easier to be found.
Finally see who's available to work with by going to the Search Users page. Get in touch with people in your area by sending them a PM (private message) or an email.
How do I join your agency?
TFPModels is not an agency nor are we linked to any one agency. We are here to help people develop as photographers/models/make up artists. As a community we are here to share experiences and help people get together to get great photos and therefore develop and improve your portfolio.
All my images are too big to upload. How can I resize them?
For a standard account images should be less than 250Kb. You can use an online resource such as http://www.picresize.com to change the size of the images to around 200Kb which will ensure that you can upload to the site. As a subscriber, your quota goes up to thirty 500Kb images which, we think, allows for a pretty decent web standard image.
As TFPModels.net continues to spread overseas it seems only right and proper that we have a Member of the Week who isn't from the UK so it is with delight and gratitude that I introduce Ghetto Fab Fashion Dot Com.
Ghetto has a great and consistent style to his photography and, somewhat obviously, is after more people to work with and, I would presume, showcase on his great web site. If you're State side and in the vicinity of Costa Mesa, get in touch with GhettoFabFashionDotCom and then let us see the photos!
